Developer COACHING
24/7 ACCESS TO Bennett
Enjoying your job more. Work smarter. Grow your income.
Take advantage of the benefits of my $1,500 private mentorship at a fraction of the cost.
"Such a great experience working with Bennett, despite the ups and downs of my journey through the job search. It was exactly what I needed, and I'm taking a lot with me moving forward."
--Saul G. ($150k job offer)
How does coaching work?
We'll start with a Kickoff Call to learn about where you are in your developer career, where you want to go, and strategies for how to get there.
Then, you can confidentially email me any question 24/7. You'll have my response within one business day (but usually faster during business hours).
Within a few months, it's not uncommon for coaching clients to see a 10x return on investment with a new job, salary negotiation, promotion, or freelance contract.
Who will coaching help?
Coaching is a good fit for you if you want to:
Work smarter, instead of harder
Have a bigger impact on your team
Advance in your company or land a new role
Bonus points if:
You've been working as a software developer for 2+ years
You'd like to work in industries that are good for the world
You're not solely motivated by money or prestige, but want meaning at work
"I can't thank you enough for your support and counsel throughout the process. Know that you're good at what you do, Bennett, and that I'm very glad to have had the chance to work with you."
--Jeff C. ($170k salary negotiation)

FAQ about coaching
Can we talk on the phone/online meeting?
We'll have an initial kickoff call, but after that everything is via email. If you'd like to talk to me on the phone regularly, I offer private mentorship.
Can I ask Bennett for feedback on ideas, code, resumes, etc?
Yes! I'm happy to review whatever you'd like.
How will I know what to work on?
After our initial Kickoff Call, I'll give you some clear next steps for what to work on. As you complete the followup steps, we'll keep exploring opportunities and work out a long-term plan.
Will Bennett send me weekly assignments or structured reading?
Coaching is structured around your needs & depends on you contacting me when you're stuck. In response, I will often send assignments, suggestions, and resources. But there's no high-level rubric or structure, since each coaching engagement is highly personalized.
What if I'm a new developer just starting my career?
I wouldn't recommend my $1,500 private mentorship for someone just starting out, but email coaching is a great option! Developers early in their career can avoid some of the most common mistakes with a little guidance. Moreover, they have a lot of room to grow their career early on.
I have another question that wasn't answered here!
Send me an email at bennett@developerpurpose.com & I'll answer right away!
"Thank you for being a great mentor along the way ... just to have someone there to confirm that I was doing things the right way and was on the right path was a massive help."
